The Emer Casey Foundation is hugely proud to be supporting a part-time physiotherapist post on the GynaeCancerCare team in St. James’s Hospital, Dublin. The physio will support gynae patients pre- and post-surgery and those dealing wtih the long term effects of cancer and its treatment. St. James’ GynaeCancerCare provides a regional and national service and is the largest provider of care to women with cancer of the reproductive organs in the Republic of Ireland. The Foundation has worked closely with St James’s in recent years and our funding of scanning and laparoscopic equipment has resulted in better patient experiences.
