Monday 8th May 2017 is World Ovarian Cancer Day and Ireland will be joining with ovarian cancer advocates around the world in marking the annual event. The full schedule features events in Dublin, Galway and Cork.
Saturday, 6th May: Ovacare Coffee Morning for ovarian cancer patients (free event), Hilton Hotel, Kilmainham, Dublin from 11am to 1pm.
Sunday, 7th May: Tea Dance and Family Fun Day in aid of the Emer Casey Foundation, Westwood Hotel, Galway from 3-6pm.
Monday, 8th May: World Ovarian Cancer Day event by St. James’s Hospital’s Gynae Cancer Care team in conjunction with the Emer Casey Foundation focussing on quality survivorship (free event). St. James’s Hospital, Dublin 10am.

Every woman in the world is at risk of developing ovarian cancer, the most serious gynaecological cancer. World Ovarian Cancer Day provides an opportunity each year to raise the profile of the disease which takes the lives of 140,000 women per year.
